Waukesha County Celebrates Completion of the Bugline Trail with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

September 1st, 2016

Waukesha County officials marked the completion of the Bugline Trail paving project with a brief program at Menomonee Park Aug. 11. CORRE provided design and construction oversight services for this 16-mile path from STH 175 in Menomonee Falls to Hartman Road in the Town of Merton.

The last section of the trail was the development of Phase 4--the 1 mile extension into Menomonee Park. In 2015, Phase 3 included the improvement of the 2.4 mile undeveloped abandoned rail corridor in the Village and Town of Merton. In 2013 and 2014, Waukesha County completed the paving improvement projects along 11.6 miles of the Bugline Trail reaching from Menomonee Falls to the Village of Merton.
