Stage 1 of Beltline & Verona Road Project Complete

February 1st, 2017

CORRE's construction staff played a vital role in this project starting in early 2014 by providing an assistant project leader and inspection services. The project reconstructed and expanded the heavily-traveled Verona Road, Beltline, and surrounding roadways. The improvements will reduce delays and accidents while providing bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. Specific improvements include a straddle-bent structure over a roundabout, a pedestrian underpass and overpass, retaining walls, and a SPUI (single point urban interchange) at Verona Road and the Beltline. Minor landscaping work will touch up the site next spring with minimal traffic impacts.

Stage 2 of the Verona Road corridor is currently under construction from south of CTH PD to Raymond Road. The project website can be found here.
