This project built a two-span grade separation structure over USH 51 to eliminate an at-grade intersection. Lane shifts and lane closures were required on USH 51 to accommodate equipment while building the pier and abutments. USH 51 was detoured on CTH K for two consecutive evenings to facilitate the erection of the precast concrete beams. The traffic control was managed in conjunction with a separate pavement rehabilitation project on USH 51. The project had an expedited timeframe and required coordination of nine subcontractors.
