STH 47 will be reconstructed on the Menominee Tribe reservation from the Shawano County line to the north junction of CTH VV. The fee land v trust land right-of-way clearing process is being coordinated with WisDOT, the Menominee Tribe, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA).

A roundabout will be constructed on STH 47 at Standing Pines Drive which will become the main entrance to the casino. Safety will be improved while accommodating the needs of bicyclists and pedestrians for the local college and schools.

There are 71 parcels requiring highway easements and TLEs. Unique components include the following:

  • Appraisals follow federal guidelines
  • Dedicated bike lanes
  • Sidewalk construction
  • Dedicated turn lanes at the college
  • Bus pullouts for safe boarding
